In our Theatre program, you’ll work closely with others to create impactful, interdisciplinary performances. You'll immerse yourself in the creative process, inspiring and challenging yourself to make a difference in the world through art! With rigorous training, world-class facilities, and a supportive mentorship model, our major and minor provide theatre-makers with a unique ensemble-based experience that prepares you for the contemporary theatre landscape. Your studies in dramatic literature and theory, combined with our strong partnership with Performance Design & Technology, will help you expand your theatre-making skills across all aspects of live art!

A degree in Theatre provides students with a comprehensive skill set and knowledge base that opens up a variety of professional opportunities in the performing arts and beyond. Through rigorous coursework in acting, directing, playwriting, stage management, and theatre history, students develop a strong foundation for successful careers in the theatre industry.
